All tools and content—including the landed cost calculator—are provided for informational and estimation purposes only.
They do not constitute:

- Customs brokerage
- Freight forwarding
- Sourcing or procurement services
You are solely responsible for verifying:
- HS codes
- Duties, taxes, and compliance requirements
- Supplier legitimacy
- Final landed costs
3) Accounts
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account
- All activity under your account
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4) Free and Paid Access
We offer both free and paid access to features.
- Free users are granted up to three (3) lifetime uses of certain tools (e.g., the landed cost calculator)
- Paid users receive expanded or unlimited access depending on their plan
We reserve the right to:
- Modify usage limits
- Restrict access
- Change pricing or features
5) Payments and Subscriptions
Payments are processed via third-party providers (e.g., Stripe).
By purchasing:
- You agree to all applicable fees
- Subscriptions may automatically renew unless canceled
- You authorize recurring billing where applicable
6) Refund Policy
All payments are generally non-refundable, except in the following cases:

8) Platform Role vs Third-Party Services (Critical)
Chaperon Supply is a platform, not a party to transactions between users, suppliers, or sourcing agents.
If we introduce connections to sourcing agents or service providers:
- We do not guarantee performance, quality, or outcomes
- We are not responsible for agreements, disputes, or losses
- Any engagement is solely between you and the third party
9) Platform Integrity & Enforcement
We may take action to:
- Prevent abuse or manipulation
- Investigate suspicious activity
- Protect users and platform integrity
This may include:
- Content removal
- Feature restriction
- Account suspension or termination
10) Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Chaperon Supply shall not be liable for:
- Financial losses or business decisions
- Incorrect estimates or assumptions
- Customs delays, penalties, or seizures
- Supplier fraud or third-party misconduct
- Any indirect or consequential damages
Use of the service is at your own risk.
11) Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Chaperon Supply from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from:
- Your use of the platform
- Your submitted content (especially public reports)
- Your violation of laws or these Terms
12) Service Availability
We do not guarantee continuous uptime, error-free operation, or complete accuracy.
We may modify or discontinue features at any time.
13) Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if:
- You violate these Terms
- Your activity poses risk to the platform or others
14) Dispute Resolution (Important for US Users)
Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration, rather than court litigation,
except where prohibited by law.
You agree:
- To waive the right to participate in class actions
- That disputes will be resolved individually
