Sourcing Partner Network

One sourcing post. Matched factories, trading companies, and agents.

The Chaperon Sourcing Partner Network is a buyer-side marketplace for China sourcing. Buyers post one requirement, and verified sourcing partners apply. Chaperon ranks applications by category fit, submitted proof, background records, and risk signals so buyers can compare the strongest options first.

Supplier screening is live today. Partner matching is in network onboarding.

How the marketplace works

01

Buyer posts a requirement

Category, product details, order size, timeline, quality needs, and commercial priorities go into one sourcing post.

02

Partners apply

Factories, trading companies, and sourcing agents can submit applications when the requirement fits their verified profile.

03

Chaperon ranks fit

The strongest matches rise first based on category fit, proof documents, registry records, legal signals, and platform conduct.

04

Buyer chooses who to talk to

Buyers can review every application, message selected partners, exchange ideas, and accept a preliminary cooperation.

Why we use “sourcing partner”

Buyers usually care less about the label and more about whether the person or company can actually deliver. “Sourcing partner” covers the three groups buyers compare in China sourcing: factories, trading companies, and sourcing agents.

The label still appears on each application, but the ranking is evidence-led. A factory with weak category proof should not outrank a trading company or agent with stronger documents, cleaner records, and better experience for the same requirement.

What partners submit

  • Identity and business proof: company registration, representative details, government ID where applicable.
  • Category experience: documents, photos, records, or client references that support what they claim to have handled.
  • Operational scope: what they can source, inspect, coordinate, manufacture, or communicate on.
  • Risk context: registry, legal, export, scam-report, and platform conduct signals where available.

Why records stay on-platform

Large sourcing marketplaces often make money from listings, memberships, or transaction activity. That structure can pull serious conversations away from the platform after the buyer and supplier find each other.

Chaperon keeps applications, messages, proof documents, reviews, and match decisions connected to the same record. That does not eliminate risk, but it makes claims harder to fake, harder to abandon, and easier to review when something goes wrong.

Questions buyers ask

Can all sourcing partners apply?

Yes. The network allows verified factories, trading companies, and sourcing agents to apply. Chaperon ranks the most relevant applications first, but buyers can still review every applicant.

Does Chaperon choose the partner for me?

No. Chaperon helps you compare applications and risk signals. The buyer chooses who to message and whether to accept a preliminary cooperation.

What is different from a supplier directory?

A directory starts with listings. Chaperon starts with the buyer requirement, then compares applications against evidence, records, and category fit.
